Bandai Namco announced that Blue Protocol players can now take part in a new Sudden Death Battle mode, as well as an Easter Gacha that includes new costumes and a Faster Rabit Gacha. Both gachas will be available until maintenance starts on April 24, 2024.
The new content appeared as part of the latest Ver.1.04.100 update released on March 27, 2024. Sudden Death Battle is a PvE mode in which players have to survive for 5 minutes against hordes of enemies. To unlock Sudden Death Battle mode in Blue Protocol, players need to complete the Rank 5 of Rush Battle first. A full party of 6 is required to participate in Sudden Death Battle.
As for the new Easter Gacha for Blue Protocol it includes 12 new costumes, 6 for male characters and another 6 for female characters. The Faster Rabit Gacha features three giant rabbit mounts in different colored furs. You can check out the new costumes and mounts in the video below.
In other Blue Protocol news, the most recent February 2024 Bandai Namco financial statement revealed that the action MMORPG might be underperforming for the company.
Blue Protocol is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC in Japan. A worldwide release date is planned for 2024.
